I am Brittany, the Professional Soap Artist behind the brand LATHER & SOAK.
My adventures into soap-making began when I became the mother of two boys. My boys have grown to love exploring in the wild and getting really dirty. To them, the muddier... the better!
In cleaning them - from muddy nose to toes - my love of soap-making was born! After trying numerous store bought soaps that left our skin feeling dry, I began making my own. I simply used the freshest, highest-quality, and most natural ingredients available and the results were incredible! Our skin felt refreshed, well-cleansed, and moisturized like never before. From that moment on, I started making pure, wholesome soaps on a regular basis for my family and friends to enjoy.
Since then, I've applied my experiences working as an artist, celebrant, and plant-lover to this practice. I believe soaping to be a wonderful means of creative expression, of honouring our bodies, and of celebrating nature. As you can tell, it has become one of my life's passions and I sincerely hope you love using my soap as much as I love making it!
